While many campgrounds are winding down for the year, one in South Sioux City, Neb., is staying plenty busy with campers ready to enjoy the warm fall weather, television station KCAU reported.

Scenic Park Campground is filled with campers ready for their last taste of fall.

Campground Host Sue Brown said they were jam packed all summer, even having to turn folks away at times.  And even now, they’re still 75% full.

She said they’re unusually busy for this time of year but the campground is very popular because of its riverside location.  And now, they’re getting a little help from mother nature.

“It really is, the weather has played a big factor. Normally, our camping season, the normal camping season goes until Halloween. But now, we’ve started staying open year round,” Brown said.
