Jayne noted that the industry is seeing more new builds than ever before because investors are realizing that outdoor recreation is a viable investment option right now. She explained that some investors are building parks with an exit plan in place.
“They are building the parks, stabilizing the business and then selling them,” Jayne said.
She also highlighted that the market for selling parks is still busy, but that prices have come down slightly from the highs sellers were seeing a year ago. Both David and Jayne noted that funding sources to expand and develop parks were still readily available, and also highlighted the fact that interest rates are still very low, even with the recent increases.
Other topics discussed included business planning, supply chain issues and more.
