WCM Show Logo Mia Caetano Johnson, a commercial real estate broker with Northeast Campground Brokers, joined WCM’s Outdoor Hospitality Update on Tuesday, Feb. 22 to talk about the red hot real estate market and what owners should do if they are thinking of selling their park.

Johnson has more than 18 years of business and real estate law experience and regularly assists clients in all phases of sales and acquisitions of campgrounds, RV parks and resorts.

Johnson noted during the program that owners should reach out to a broker with industry experience to ensure they get top-dollar for their park, and recommended they avoid accepting an unsolicited offer until they do proper research. She went through some of the keys to selling a park, including clean, organized financial records, proper permitting, and even tackled park improvements and what should be looked at before listing a park.

Johnson also looked at how economic trends could impact the real estate market, family succession planning and more.

You can watch the show on WCM’s Facebook or YouTube pages.
