WCM’s Outdoor Hospitality Update highlighted the upcoming snowbird season during its show on Tuesday (Oct. 12).
Shane Devenish, executive director of the Canadian Camping and RV Council, and Jennifer Mason, owner of the Point South/I-95/Yemassee KOA Holiday, spoke about the growing numbers of snowbirds who are ready to hit the road this winter — with Mason pointing out that she is noticing more Millennial snowbirds as well.
Devenish highlighted the issues that Canadian snowbirds are facing due to the continued U.S. border closure, which was alleviated to some degree earlier this week by the Biden administration.
The show also tackled other snowbird trends and issues too.
The show is hosted by Ben Quiggle, editor of Woodall’s Campground Magazine (WCM), and Mike Gast, former vice president of communications at Kampgrounds of America Inc. (KOA) and a senior writer for RVTravel.com.
The show airs every Tuesday at 3 p.m.
