While, admittedly, there were some tech issues, WCM was still able to welcome David Korse, the organizer of The Glamping Show USA, and Scott Cory, the owner of the Ventura Ranch Kampgrounds of America (KOA), who spoke on the popularity of glamping.
Cory, specifically, spoke about the work he has done at his park and what park owners should research before investing in glamping units at their parks, including the type of audience they are targeting, the types of experiences they are going to offer and how it will impact staffing. Cory did note that adding glamping units to his park has been lucrative, counting for more than 50% of his park’s revenue.
