WCM Show Logo Most park owners by now have seen all of the news about the future of electric vehicles (EVs).

Some park owners have even dealt with a few at their parks. Campers who want to plug into a park’s pedestals to charge their vehicles overnight.

It is an issue that most predict will grow to be a larger one for park owners, especially with large automakers announcing big investments in EV technology, including EV trucks. On the RV side, companies are exploring an all-electric RV and some companies have even started creating unique battery systems to allow vehicles to tow larger RVs for longer periods of time with an EV.

For park owners, it is imperative that they understand what this means for their businesses and how they need to better manage electricity costs to ensure they are not losing money if EVs start plugging into pedestals.

WCM’s Outdoor Hospitality Update will tackle this issue and take a look at how the outdoor hospitality industry could be further impacted by EV technology during its show on Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 3 p.m. (EST).
