Ben Quiggle
Tonight’s program of “RVing in New England,” the weekly Facebook Live show hosted by Bob Zagami and John DiPietro of the New England RV Dealers Association (NERVDA), welcomes Ben Quiggle, editor of Woodall’s Campground Magazine for a discussion on the state of the camping season.
“What are campers talking about around the campfire this year? What are they happy about and what disturbs them about camping and campgrounds? To find the answer to those questions we once again have Ben Quiggle joining us,” Zagami said, noting that Quiggle is the editor of the most read campground publication in the outdoor hospitality industry. “He loves to talk about campers and camping, so grab a chair and circle around our virtual campfire surrounded by laughing kids toasting s’mores and their parents and grandparents talking to old friends and meeting new ones. As our first full summer after the national shutdown in 2020, we certainly have many things to talk about this week.
“As we head into the July 4th weekend of camping happiness, what will be the topic of discussion be around your campfire?” Zagami continued. “Will it be campground availability, alternative camping options, campground etiquette or maybe even dynamic pricing that is getting a lot of attention as supply and demand force the campgrounds to look at profit enhancement business models to meet the financial requirements to upgrade facilities or add more sites this year and next?”
Sponsored by Camping World of Windham (formerly Lee’s Family Trailer Sales & Service), “RVing in New England” is the industry’s only online talk show and features guests each week from all segments of the RV marketplace. Weekly shows average between 6,000 and 8,000 views within a week of the original airing of the show. The highest-rated show in 2019 had 15,500 views.
