The Garrett County (W. Va.) Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Garrett County Department of Business Development, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Sept. 17, to celebrate the opening of Sweet Springs Glamping in Oakland, according to The Garrett County Republican.
Located on a 26-acre farm near Deep Creek Lake, Wisp Resort, and Swallow Falls State Park, Sweet Springs Glamping provides a tranquil retreat with easy access to West Virginia destinations such as Thomas, Davis, and Canaan Valley.
Accommodations at Sweet Springs Glamping are as unique as the property itself. Guests can stay in a fully furnished yurt complete with modern comforts, enjoy The Hayloft — a beautifully renovated barn that blends rustic charm with modern comfort and offers a cozy retreat overlooking the peaceful pasture — or experience the retro charm of a renovated Airstream camper.
For something truly different, guests can also book an overnight in a creatively converted school bus.
