A former sports complex is being turned into an RV park, according to the Memphis Business Journal.
A $2.5 million construction permit was filed with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development to build a “VIP recreational vehicle park” at the site of the previous Gameday Baseball complex, according to the filing.
The permit was filed by Aren Investments LLC, with the Collierville address listed on the filing matching that of VIP Indoor Storage. An initial permit for this project was filed by its developer in June 2024.
According to the permit, the administrative site plan review for the project, which was filed in March 2025, has been approved, and the company is now submitting plans for review to receive a building permit. The administrative site plan showed 322 RV spaces, existing buildings on-site being retained, and a dog park area.
