This pivotal role is integral to advancing ORR’s mission and bolstering its position as a prominent advocate for outdoor recreation in the United States, according to a press release.

“We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our dedicated team and help us amplify the voice of the outdoor recreation industry and economy. This role offers a unique chance to shape our communications, operations and policy efforts in ways that will benefit the entire outdoor recreation community,” ORR President Jessica Turner said.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of ten years of professional experience, including at least five years in management roles. They should possess proficiency in communications, operations and development, along with a deep understanding of federal politics and policy.

ORR offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including retirement match, medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, paid family leave, remote work options and unlimited vacation. The ORR office is located in an exciting co-working space in downtown D.C., with team members also based in Wyoming.

Applications will be accepted until Friday, Oct. 13. Interested candidates are encouraged to visit the ORR website (www.recreationroundtable.org) for more information about the position and application instructions.
