The Glamping Show Americas wrapped up its annual conference in Aurora, Colo., at the beginning of October. The event has grown significantly over the years and David Korse, the organizer of the event, noted to WoodallsCM.com (WCM) that a record number of attendees took part in this year’s show with audited numbers showing 1,592 individuals took part in 2023.
One of the highlights of the show is the more than 50 unique accommodation units from yurts to canvas tents to space-age cabins and more that are set up outside the venue for attendees to walk through. WCM for its part enjoys connecting with the accommodation vendors and recording short interviews on the units they are displaying.
Over the next several weeks, WCM will be highlighting the unique accommodation units that were at the show this year through a series that will allow those who didn’t get the chance to attend the show to still see some of the neat products that were on display.
Today, we take a look at a unique dome that features a large waterfall on the outside from Earth Domes. Stuart Dunne, founder of the company, shows off a 20-foot Diameter Dome with a huge waterfall and stone rock structure from Universal Rocks coming down from one half of the structure.
Earth Domes have been designed with the option to connect to other domes of any size, including a smaller dome that has a bathroom package in this unit.
