Jellystone Park Camp-Resort locations are planning a variety of memorable activities for families to honor their Dads over Father’s Day weekend, according to a press release.
“Some locations have an entire week of special activities planned with events such as cornhole tournaments, fishing derbies and family games,” said Trent Hershenson, vice president of marketing for Camp Jellystone, the Southfield, Michigan-based company that franchises Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts across the U.S. and Canada.

“Many of the contests are designed with pure fun in mind,” Hershenson said, citing Jellystone Park locations with chocolate pudding-eating and root beer-chugging contests. “Another has a ‘Best Dad Bod’ contest as well as a contest to see who can make the biggest splash,” he said, adding that all fathers will also receive a special gift upon check-in.
With more than 75 franchised locations, Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts operates in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences.
