The Sports Complex, currently under construction, is bringing an RV park to Luverne (Ala.), according to The Luverne Journal.
According to Crenshaw County Commissioner Charlie Sankey, this is an opportunity for growth for Luverne.
Sankey said the RV park is part of the overall project. The space for travelers to camp nearby will be open at the same time as the complex.
In addition to the RV park, the complex will feature a state-of-the-art track, two regulation football-soccer fields, as well as two fields more geared to girls’ softball and little league.
The project is currently in the public building phase, which is projected to be completed by July 2026. The final phase or finish work is expected to be completed by approximately early fall of 2026.
