If the zoning issue is resolved, there is nothing currently standing in the way of the project moving forward. Provided

The zoning issue that has delayed a proposed RV resort in the city limits of the Town of Wedowee (Alabama) has reportedly been resolved, freeing the project to move forward as planned, according to The Randolph Leader.

Property owner Scott Carter said he plans to withdraw his request for a zoning change because documentation has surfaced showing the property is already properly zoned.

The issue at hand is whether the property is zoned residential or business. The most recent Wedowee zoning map, which is dated 2004, shows the land as being residential. However, Carter was able to find documentation that the land had been rezoned for business in 2011 and does not need to be rezoned.
