Campspot, a campground management and reservation software, has announced the launch of Revenue Management 2.0, a major expansion of the native revenue management engine it introduced to outdoor hospitality in late 2025. The update advances Campspot’s strategy to give campground operators the same pricing sophistication long available to hotels and vacation rentals, built specifically for the realities of outdoor hospitality, according to a press release.
Since introducing the industry’s first AI occupancy prediction model trained on campground-specific data, Campspot has heard consistently from multi-park operators, revenue managers and independent owners that pricing tools built for other segments of hospitality fail to translate to the outdoor space. Revenue Management 2.0 responds directly to that gap by integrating pace, or comparative year-over-year performance and velocity, or current booking pickup, into a single, interpretable demand score. The result gives operators clear visibility into why a given rate is recommended, rather than a recommendation alone.

The release also introduces a new Performance Overview dashboard and Demand Calendar, consolidating reporting and pricing action into one connected workflow. Operators can monitor occupancy rate, Average Daily Rate (ADR), and Revenue per Available Site (RevPAS), each benchmarked against the prior year, and apply recommended rates directly from the same view, removing the need to move between separate reporting and operational screens.
“It’s been a multi-year journey of investment in revenue management, and this is our biggest milestone yet,” said Michael Scheinman, CEO of Campspot. “It’s an example of taking hospitality-industry best practices and translating them into specific camping use cases. All of this is made possible by our proprietary data set, our best-in-class team of engineers and data scientists, and our position as the largest technology provider in outdoor travel. This is AI in action, and it represents an evolution for Campspot customers and for the industry as a whole.”
The enhancement is aimed squarely at the operators most exposed to pricing complexity: multi-park operators, medium-to-large single-park businesses, and dedicated revenue and sales managers, many of whom have historically evaluated outside revenue management systems built for hotels or vacation rentals before finding those platforms poorly suited to campground operations.
For owner-operators without a dedicated revenue function, Revenue Management 2.0 offers a guided path to more strategic pricing without the cost of hiring a specialist or licensing a third-party system.
Revenue Management 2.0 is currently live for Campspot customers on the platform’s Growth Package.
