A home away from home or the premier place for visitors, Whiskey Ridge RV Park and Campground in Dadeville, Ala., held its ribbon cutting on Thursday (Nov. 20), according to The Dadeville Record.
Whiskey Ridge co-owner John Howell said the campground is meant to be a personal outdoor experience. The space exists for visitors to have a different way to experience the lake in the area and see the nature of Alabama.
The campground has three full bathhouses, including an Americans with Disabilities Act compliant bathhouse, a laundromat with three washer and dryer sets, a Wi-Fi router at every 10 posts and more. There is also a store with essentials such as bug spray, detergent and over-the-counter medication.
