The pink shaded area shows the proposed location of the proposed RV park.

After hearing from more than half a dozen residents, Special Magistrate Lindsay C.T. Holt recommended denial of a comprehensive plan amendment and rezoning for a proposed RV park north of the curve on County Road 462, according to Villages-News.com.

Holt said her recommendations at a meeting of the Wildwood (Fla.) Planning and Zoning Board was based on public safety, not on whether the development would add traffic. The City Commission likely will consider the project later this month.

The project by Eddie Small of E. Small Developing, LLC, calls for up to 99 RV sites on 10 acres. The property is along the west side of County Road 121.
