Even with travel delays mounting, there was plenty of activity on Sunday as OHI wrapped up the final day of preparations for its Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo (OHCE) this week in Louisville, Ky.

OHCE will be held from Nov. 10-12 and is expected to be jam-packed with educational content, networking events and more. OHI previously told Woodall’s Campground Magazine (WCM) that registrations were outpacing 2024’s event.
Besides planning for the opening of OHCE today (Nov. 10), OHI hosted over 60 attendees at its Prospective Owners’ Workshop (POW) on Sunday, which gave attendees the chance to hear from industry experts on how they can turn their vision “into a thriving outdoor hospitality business.”
Expert insights dove into everything from finding the right property and designing a park to tips on budgeting, operations and guest experience.
Speakers included:
- Jayne Cohen, founder/CEO of Campground Consulting Group
- Greg Emmert, founder of Vireo
- Paul Bosley, managing member of Business Finance Depot
- Lisa Courtney, director of operations at Camp Jellystone
- Cathy Reinard, a broker at Campground Brokers of America
- Jeff Hoffman, founder of Camp Strategy
- Terry Munoz, from Campground Consulting Group
