Hipcamp, an app for finding and booking campsites, has announced the winners of the 2026 U.S. Hipcamp Awards. This comprehensive awards program features an extensive list of America’s best camping sites, beloved and highly rated by campers, according to a press release.

This year’s winners span an extraordinary range of camping experiences, including hike-in tent sites on the coast, working farmstays, family-friendly animal sanctuaries, RV parks with easy access to public lands and other stand-out spots across the country.

Each year, Hipcamp compiles data around bookings, reviews and ratings from its network of more than 8 million users across more than 500,000 U.S. campsites to crown the best Hipcamps in the United States. All award lists are unranked.

“There are thousands of incredible places to camp on Hipcamp, so being recognized in the Awards is a genuinely high bar,” said Alyssa Ravasio, CEO and founder of Hipcamp. “These are places that have earned exceptional feedback again and again, and we’re excited to give the Hosts behind them the recognition they deserve.”

The 2026 winners include The Lookout in Washington, a mountainside basecamp with private biking trails; C2T Ranch on the Saline River, a sprawling Kansas cattle ranch offering riverside tent camping; rugged Cliffs Edge Campsite in Colorado with expansive views toward Pikes Peak; Skyes Treehouses set high among native rainforest in Hawaii; and North Carolina’s Easy Bend River Farms, where campers can pick fresh berries on a working blackberry farm.

New for 2026, Hipcamp has split its former RV and van camping award into Best RV & Trailer Sites and Best Van & Overland Spots, recognizing that the needs of someone with a full-sized rig can differ greatly from those of a camper exploring in a small van, 4×4 or rooftop tent.

The 2026 U.S. Hipcamp Award categories include:

  • The Best Hipcamps in Every State in the U.S.
  • The Best Tent Sites in the U.S.
  • The Best RV & Trailer Sites in the U.S.
  • The Best Van & Overland Spots in the U.S.
  • The Best Glamping Sites in the U.S.
  • The Best Farmstays in the U.S.
  • The Best Hipcamp Newcomers in 2026
  • The Hipcamp Legacy Awards

All award-winning campsites are available on the Hipcamp app, where campers can easily see real-time availability for booking.
