Kropf Industries will celebrate a significant milestone in its nearly 80-year history with a Groundbreaking Ceremony on Monday, Sept. 28 at 2:30 p.m., marking the beginning of a major expansion to its current Goshen, Ind., park model RV operations, according to a press release.
The new 61,000 square feet of manufacturing and support space will allow Kropf to expand production capacity and provide dedicated space for research and development, quality control, inspections, service operations, and warehousing. The new facility will also include multiple production bays with working mezzanine and platform areas designed to maximize productivity, along with improved employee amenities, including a breakroom and restrooms.
DJ Construction will serve as the contractor for the expansion project with estimated completion at the end of 2027.
For company owner Don Kropf, the expansion represents another chapter in a story that began generations ago.
“To see the original building that we’ve grown in over the years now being expanded upon is pretty exciting,” said Don Kropf. “This groundbreaking isn’t just the start of a new building. It’s a celebration of where Kropf has come from, the people who helped get it there, and the beginning of its next chapter.”
The project carries special significance for General Manager Trevor Kropf, a fourth-generation member of the Kropf family who grew up in the family business and is preparing to carry that legacy into its next generation.
“This opportunity in our Kropf story is extremely exciting for me,” said Trevor Kropf. “Growing up in this family business, I dreamed about being able to be part of something like this someday. To now see that dream becoming a reality and to be part of building the next chapter of Kropf Industries is something I don’t take for granted. This expansion is something our dealers and customers have been asking for. We wanted to make sure it was done the correct way that allowed us to grow capacity, focus on quality, and provide specialized departments unlike those in the park model industry.”
