The Bend RV Park in Bend, Ore., sits on 13.5 acres of land just off Highway 97 in south Bend and will support 176 RV parking sites with full hookups, according to The Bulletin.
“The goal here is to have a luxury RV park for people traveling to Bend who stay for a short period of time,” said developer David Swisher. There will be 30 accompanying dog patios so visitors can keep their dogs near their parked vehicles. The complex will include a community recreation center, workout facilities, pools, hot tubs, dog park and pickleball and basketball courts.
Fifty-three sites will have gas fire pits. Two sites will have “buddy sites” where two RVs can pull in side-by-side to create a private living space. The property will be landscaped with wildflowers to keep grass watering to a minimum.
A soft opening is set for May 1, 2024.
