Outdoor Digital Marketing Survey Is Live

The 2016 Digital Marketing Benchmark Study for Outdoor Hospitality is now open and available for business owners, operators, and marketers to complete, according to an announcement. This study will allow those with an interest in marketing their business online an opportunity to identify best practices as they relate to email marketing, social media marketing, etc. as well as look back at the previous study and compare results to benchmarks established in 2013/14.

Evanne Schmarder, the study’s founder and publisher, would like all members of the industry to take part in this second of the study series, the just released 2016 survey, at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DMBenchmarkStudy2015-16

“I was thrilled with the number of participants in the 2013/14 survey but I know we can do better, it’s that important. I’m asking every single business owner and/or operator that has a hand in a property’s digital marketing to take the time to take the survey,” said Schmarder. “Doing so allows industry members insight into their program’s performance and strengthens the marketing foundation of this industry by providing valuable, actionable, and measurable data. Everyone wins.”

Participants will receive a complimentary copy of the study upon its release, estimated to be spring 2016.

Based on feedback from park owners and operators Schmarder has added additional sections including digital advertising and outsourcing in addition to those asked about last time such as Facebook and YouTube. The study will also take a deeper look into website development, management, and marketing.

For more information, questions, or comments readers may contact Schmarder at 702-460-9863 or evanne@roadabode.com.
