The Pennsylvania Campground Owners Association (PCOA) is proud to announce the adoption of a special America 250 commemorative logo to be used throughout the 2026 calendar year, recognizing the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, according to a press release.

The custom logo incorporates iconic elements, including the Liberty Bell and celebratory fireworks, symbolizing freedom, unity and the enduring spirit of America. Through this visual identity, PCOA is honoring a monumental moment in our nation’s history while celebrating Pennsylvania’s role as the birthplace of American independence.

“America’s 250th anniversary is a once-in-a-generation milestone,” said Jason Vaughan, executive director of PCOA. “By utilizing this commemorative logo throughout 2026, PCOA is proudly showing its support and recognition of this historic moment, while connecting our camping community to the heritage, freedom and shared experiences that define both Pennsylvania and the outdoor lifestyle.”

The America 250 logo will appear across PCOA communications, events, marketing materials and special initiatives during 2026. Its use reflects the association’s commitment to celebrating history, fostering community pride and encouraging Pennsylvanians and visitors alike to experience the Commonwealth through camping, travel and outdoor recreation.

PCOA’s participation aligns with statewide and national efforts surrounding America 250, which commemorates the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Campgrounds across Pennsylvania will play a meaningful role in welcoming families and travelers seeking to explore historic destinations, natural landscapes and patriotic events during this landmark year.

“Campgrounds have always been places where memories are made and traditions are passed down,” Vaughan added. “As we look ahead to 2026, we are excited to celebrate our past, embrace the present, and welcome the future — together — under the banner of America 250.”
