RoverPass Launches Event Ticketing Tool for Campgrounds

RoverPass has launched Event Ticketing, a new capability within its reservation and management platform that allows campground owners and operators to create events, sell tickets online or at the front desk, issue digital tickets and track event revenue from a single connected workflow, according to a press release.

The launch arrives as the summer season approaches, giving RV parks and campgrounds a direct tool to capture incremental revenue during peak months and build programming that keeps occupancy strong once the high season ends.

“For many campground operators, summer fills sites without much effort. The challenge is what happens around the edges of the season and in the slower months that follow,” stated the release. “Event Ticketing gives owners a practical way to add revenue-generating programming to their parks, from live music and guided tours to holiday weekend activities, day passes, workshops, and recurring classes. Events can be built once and repeated across multiple dates using the event series feature, which lets operators schedule recurring activities without rebuilding the same event from scratch each time.”

“Summer is when most parks are running at capacity, but the real revenue opportunity is in the other eight months,” said Ravi Parikh, CEO and Founder at RoverPass. “Event Ticketing gives owners a way to create demand, not just accommodate it. A park that runs events year-round is not as dependent on the calendar as one that simply waits for the busy season to arrive.”

The workflow is built to stay inside the platform operators already use. From the Owner Portal, campground teams can create an event with a name, description, photos, location, dates and capacity. Ticket types can be configured with individual pricing, inventory, order limits, and sales windows, giving operators control over how each event is sold.

Guests add tickets during online checkout and receive digital tickets with a ticket code after purchase. At the front desk, staff can sell tickets on-site and keep the order source visible in the admin view.

Key capabilities of RoverPass Event Ticketing:

  • Create events with descriptions, photos, dates, location and capacity controls
  • Set multiple ticket types with custom pricing, inventory, order limits and sales windows
  • Sell tickets online or at the front desk, with the order source tracked in the admin view
  • Issue digital tickets that guests can access after purchase
  • Require ticket holder names for classes, tours or limited-capacity experiences
  • Review tickets sold, revenue, orders and check-in progress without reconciling another system

“Campground owners told us they were managing events in spreadsheets, separate ticketing tools, and manual front-desk workarounds,” said Angie Tuarez, product leader at RoverPass. “Event Ticketing brings the full workflow into the platform the team is already using: event setup, ticket inventory, online checkout, digital tickets and event revenue in one place.”

Beyond summer, the tool gives operators a foundation for off-season programming. Parks that have historically seen occupancy drop in the fall and winter can use Event Ticketing to build activities that draw guests who would not otherwise visit, such as harvest festivals, holiday markets, guided nature programs or themed weekend packages.

Because events connect directly to the existing reservation and management workflow, operators do not need to manage a parallel system to run this type of programming, stated the release.
