It’s been a hot one so far this summer, and it looks like the heat is on for the weeks ahead in many locations throughout the Eastern U.S. One way to deal with the heat, especially for people who live in urban areas, is to escape to the hills, lakes and woods for a chill mini vacation at a Spacious Skies Campground, according to a press release.

There’s a campground experience for every camper and glamper. With 15 campgrounds located from Maine to Georgia, some campgrounds are in the heart of farmland, some near forests and mountains and some near vibrant and historic towns and urban areas. All feature one-of-a-kind amenities and offerings.

Here are some of the cool adventures campers can have at Spacious Skies Campgrounds:

Families can find an array of cool crafts at this campground’s Cosmic Kids Craft Center, such as a snowman-building kit with supplies to build a mini “snowman.” Other crafts include a light-up firefly-making kit and a rock and pinecone painting kit. Crafts often reflect the campgrounds’ monthly cosmic themes. The August theme is “Astro Adventures,” and campers can expect lots of sky- and star-related events and activities.
