The Doe Mountain Recreation Authority (Tennessee) will hold a public ribbon cutting for the Roan Creek Campground on Tuesday, June 23, according to WCYB.
The new campground represents an expansion of overnight and outdoor options in Johnson County. It will feature three cabins, nine full-hookup RV sites, six individual tent sites and one group tent site.
After damage caused by Helene, many worried about the future of the campground.
