Ga. City Celebrates River’s End Campground’s Mortgage Payoff

It’s a major milestone people wait years to celebrate: burning your mortgage once your property is paid off, according to WSAV.

That is what the City of Tybee Island (Ga.) did Wednesday (Sept. 16) for the River’s End Campground & RV Park.

The City of Tybee Island purchased River’s End Campground in 2006 for approximately $7 million.
