Holiday Camping Resort

Holiday Camping Resort, a family-friendly campground licensed for 113 sites, has taken a bold step in upping its marketing by integrating a cutting-edge 360-degree virtual tour into its website. The decision came as part of a proactive strategy to connect with new guests and strengthen visibility during what has been an unusually slow camping season, according to a press release.

Owner Joan Holz explained, “I was told that when business slows down, the best thing you can do is increase your marketing efforts. With the economy being unpredictable and weather impacting travel, we decided this was the year to invest in new ways to showcase our park.”

Working with Campground Views, a provider of immersive campground virtual tours, Holiday Camping Resort now allows guests to digitally “walk through” the property online. The interactive experience lets campers explore sites and amenities before booking, creating confidence in reservations and excitement for upcoming stays.

The results were immediate. Within days of launch, the park began receiving positive feedback from both returning and first-time guests. The virtual tour not only improved engagement on the website but also generated a noticeable uptick in inquiries and early bookings.

Website integration was handled by Roxi Baxley, of Strait Web Solutions, a longtime digital marketing professional in the outdoor hospitality space. Together, the collaboration between Campground Views and Holiday Camping Resort demonstrates how even smaller, independent parks can leverage modern tools to compete in a crowded marketplace, noted the release.

Holz added, “We’re proud to be on the front edge of innovation. Our goal is to make it easier for campers to choose us, and this technology does exactly that.”
