Lakeside Companies has recently acquired the concessionaire lease for Boyer Park & Marina/Snake River KOA Holiday, a waterfront campground and full-service marina with direct access to the Snake River near Colfax, Wash. The acquisition of the lease expands Lakeside’s local operations on the Palouse and the Snake River and its commitment to preserving and enhancing places that bring value to local communities, according to a press release.

Boyer Park & Marina/Snake River KOA Holiday has long been recognized for its waterfront setting, camping, marina access, fishing and boating opportunities. Under Lakeside’s management, the park will continue to serve as a destination for recreation and connection, while building on its strong reputation and natural beauty.

“The Palouse has been a meaningful part of Lakeside for more than 20 years, so Boyer Park felt like a natural fit for us,” said Reilly Roach, general manager. “We’re excited to continue  its legacy and work alongside our partners to support its long-term success.”

Site manager Shawndee Rohde adds, “It’s a truly beautiful place that creates memorable experiences for families and friends surrounded by incredible scenery with so many amazing opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, including camping, boating and fishing. We are excited to continue building on its long-standing reputation as a destination where people can relax, reconnect and make lasting memories. We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of this community and to help preserve and enhance this beautiful park for future  generations.”

“Since 1972, the Port of Whitman County has preserved on-water recreational opportunities in Whitman County through Boyer Park and Marina,” Port of Whitman County  Commission President Karl Webber said. “Over the years, Boyer has been managed by several concessionaires that provided excellent customer service and preserved the park’s beauty. The Port is happy to work with Lakeside Companies as the new concessionaire. We appreciate their commitment to continuing Boyer’s legacy of pristine recreation on the Snake River.”

Boyer Park & Marina/Snake River KOA Holiday offers a unique combination of waterfront camping, a full-service marina, direct access to the Snake River, and some of the best fishing and boating opportunities in Eastern Washington. Guests can enjoy spacious RV sites, cabins, tent camping, a family-friendly atmosphere and beautiful sunsets over the river.

A franchise organization and leader in outdoor hospitality, Kampgrounds of America Inc. will continue as the hospitality partner of choice for Boyer Park. Building on a reputation established over more than 60 years, the organization provides memorable camping experiences and supports campground owners with industry-leading resources, training and marketing. The partnership pairs Boyer Park & Marina’s natural beauty with a trusted brand campers already know, noted the release.

Lakeside plans to continue investing in the guest experience at the park through thoughtful improvements, local partnerships and a focus on creating memorable experiences for its visitors. The company also expects the park to continue contributing to the regional economy by attracting guests who support local businesses, attractions, and service providers.
