Northgate Resorts is celebrating a standout year in outdoor hospitality, earning top recognition on two major industry stages: the OHI Awards of Excellence and the Camp Jellystone’s Annual Awards Ceremony, according to a press release.
National Recognition at the OHI Awards of Excellence
At the OHI Awards of Excellence, a national benchmark for excellence in camping and outdoor lodging, Northgate properties captured three Innovator of the Year awards and multiple finalist honors.
Northgate Resorts and its properties were recognized by OHI as follows:
- Innovator of the Year — Medium Park — Leelanau Pines Campground
- Innovator of the Year — Large Park — Jellystone Park Glen Ellis
- Innovator of the Year — Mega Park — Camp Fimfo Texas Hill Country
Clay’s Resort Jellystone Park was also named an Innovator of the Year finalist, and Northgate Resorts was recognized as an Outdoor Industry Leadership finalist.

36 Honors at Camp Jellystone Annual Awards
In addition to OHI recognition, Northgate Resorts proudly received 36 awards at this year’s Camp Jellystone Annual Awards Ceremony last week, including the highest location honor: Jellystone Park Camp-Resort of the Year. These recognitions underscore Northgate’s continued dedication to excellence within the Jellystone Park brand and the broader outdoor hospitality space, noted the release.
Among the standout Jellystone achievements:
- Camp-Resort of the Year – Jellystone Park Harrisville
- Top Performer Award – Jellystone Park Harrisville, Jellystone Park Lakes Region
- Facility Enhancement Award – Jellystone Park Harrisville, Jellystone Park Lakes Region
