Savannah Lakes RV Resort is proud to announce its continued recognition in the 2026 LowCountry’s Best awards, earning Gold for Best Pet-Friendly Lodging for the second consecutive year and Silver for Best Campground for the third consecutive year, according to a press release.

These back-to-back and three-year honors reflect the experiences, amenities, and service that have made Savannah Lakes RV Resort a favorite Lowcountry destination for RV travelers, vacationers and pet-friendly guests.

“Being recognized year after year by the Lowcountry community means so much to our entire team,” said Carolee Evans, general manager of Savannah Lakes RV Resort. “Earning Gold for pet-friendly lodging for a second year and Silver for Best Campground for a third year tells us that the experience we work hard to create is resonating with our guests. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who voted for Savannah Lakes, and we look forward to continuing to give our guests — and their four-legged family members — a place they love coming back to.”

Pet-friendly travel is an important part of the Savannah Lakes experience. The resort’s 5,000-square-foot K9 Corner gives four-legged guests plenty of room to run and play, while walking trails and pet-friendly accommodations make it easier for travelers to enjoy the Lowcountry with their pets by their side.

The resort’s third consecutive Silver award for Best Campground recognizes the broader Savannah Lakes experience. Located in Hardeeville, S.C., between historic Savannah and Hilton Head Island, the resort offers more than 300 full-hookup RV sites, 15 furnished cottages and a wide range of resort-style amenities. Guests can enjoy a heated swimming pool, splash pad, 12-person hot tub, pickleball courts, a 24-hour fitness center, fiber Wi-Fi, a game room, clubhouse, walking trails and lakeside surroundings.

The annual LowCountry’s Best program celebrates standout businesses, attractions, services and destinations throughout the region based on community voting. Savannah Lakes RV Resort’s continued placement among the winners demonstrates the resort’s commitment to providing a welcoming, high-quality outdoor hospitality experience year after year.

“These awards are a reflection of our entire team and the care they put into the guest experience every day,” Evans added. “We’re proud to represent Hardeeville and the Lowcountry, and we’re excited to keep building on what makes Savannah Lakes such a special place to stay.”
