The Glamping Show Americas wrapped up its annual conference in Aurora, Colo., at the beginning of October. The event has grown significantly over the years and David Korse, the organizer of the event, noted to WoodallsCM.com (WCM) that a record number of attendees took part in this year’s show with audited numbers showing 1,592 individuals took part in 2023.
One of the highlights of the show is the more than 50 unique accommodation units from yurts to canvas tents to space-age cabins and more that are set up outside the venue for attendees to walk through. WCM for its part enjoys connecting with the accommodation vendors and recording short interviews on the units they are displaying.
Over the next several weeks, WCM will be highlighting the unique accommodation units that were at the show this year through a series that will allow those who didn’t get the chance to attend the show to still see some of the neat products that were on display.
Today, we take a look at a two-story unit from Camp Solutions that is named “The Village,” which can sleep up to 6-10 people and is suitable for the whole family. Camp Solutions has been a developer of glamping tents and safari tents since 2008 and is based in the Netherlands.
The tent features a strong frame made of 80mm spruce and pine and a high-quality khaki-colored inner tent made of KA-46 canvas from Ten Cate. The roof is made of 660-gram fire retardant M2-certified PVC and is available in beige, green and brown colors. As standard it comes with a spacious living area, large veranda, bedrooms, storage space, kitchen, bathroom with toilet and rain shower. It is possible to customize the interior as desired and add additional elements.
